Turning 30

hmmm.... the day finally arrived.... something I have not been entirely looking forward to.... its weird going through another decade.... another milestone reached.... you find yourself in a very self-reflective mood, questioning what you have done/achieved or not done/not achieved in the past decade.... it seems that the 20s passed really fast... I've been told that the 30s pass even faster..... well, we'll see about that..... right now, time seems to be passing a bit slowly.... not that I dont appreciate the opportunity that I have here, but I also guess I miss the opportunities I had back home..... well, guess that life is about choices, and one has to deal with the consequences from the decisions that we make....

anyway, spent the day in the office churning out stuff..... first time I have actually worked on my birthday.... usually, I am on leave on this day..... but I guess it was not possible to do so this time (and probably the next two years as well).... anyhow, I got off work earlier than usual today, and went home to change before heading out with Roy and Rebecca for dinner.... Rebecca was bringing us to this Italian restuarant that was near her place..... and located in the middle of a farm.... it was quite a journey getting there.... gravel roads, pitch black area as it was farm-area and there werent any street lights... Was seriously worried that someone might jump out and mug us.... hehehe.... well, here are some of the pics taken at the dinner.... enjoy..

well, it was a good evening with friends... and I guess turning 30 is so bad....
I guess we all just have to learn to deal with it... and see what God has in plan for us....
I pray that I am obedient to follow His Will for me... whatever it is....
