back to South Africa

Well... after a month of flying around, I am finally back in South Africa. Left Singapore with a sense of regret again.... especially after having a blast of a time back there as well as in Japan... (as you can see from the pics in the previous entries....), it was hard to say goodbye, particularly when I have made several good friends and bonded with my old buddies again..... but I guess in this line of work I am in, there will always be such regret..... As this particular trip that I made back to Singapore was totally unexpected and unplanned for, I am not sure when I would be going back to Singapore again... That thought was running through my mind when the flight was departing.... not sure when I would be able to spend time with my loved ones, and my close friends.... Hopefully, I am thinking that I would be able to return by mid-07, God willing....

Anyway, got back this morning, and wanted to drop in an entry to thank all those who came to send me off at the airport, namely Dax, Edric, Alan and my Brother, Cedric who drove me to the airport....was totally unexpected but a pleasant surprise nonetheless.... I was also glad that I bummed into an old VJ college friend, Angela, at the airport who was on the way to Beijing..... havent seen her since early uni days... she has been working in Beijing for the past 5 years.... was glad to have caught up with her for a while....

Anyway, it was a good flight back last night... and had a relatively good amount of sleep on the plane... was met by my colleagues at the airport this morning..... am now back in the office pounding away at the computer clearing away some e-mails, and catching up on some work... would appear that I may be going out of South Africa next 2 weeks for some work.... will keep you all updated....
