Dinner @ Sage (4 Oct 06)

This evening was a special one... met Edric and Wai Hoong to celebrate our birthdays, and also to catch up with each other as we havent done so in a very long time...we now each work in different countries (Ed in Spore, Wai in US, and I in South Africa).... and its really hard for us to get together to have a good chat...... Anyway, I have known Edric for 14 years (since VJC), and Wai for 18 years (since VS)..... and I would say that they are my closest friends.... maybe because we have shared many experiences together.... from secondary school days (with wai - playing tennis together.....), to JC days (lazying around in college, playing sports together, chilling out and hanging together after school, occasionally studying... hehe...), to army days (when the three of us were in the same army BMT platoon together, and doing all that physical training prior to entering the army)..... and uni days (with edric being my room mate in Eusoff) and now in our adult phase of our lives..... Its been a friendship that I have always treasured, and I will continue to treasure......

Anyway, back to the dinner.... we met at this restaurant, Sage, at Robertson Walk...... really good food..... we each brought our own wines... which as most of you would know.... I am totally clueless about..... Well, thankfully I was with two chaps who knew that stuff when it came to wine... and I was blessed to partake in some of their stash which they have collected over the past 10 years.... and I must say... they were really good wines....

Well, enough chatter.... here are some of the pics taken during the course of the 6-hour long dinner that we had at the restaurant.....
