jeeva's celebration at the temple (12 aug 06)

Roy and I headed to Jeeva's temple on Saturday to observe a festival that he was organising..... it was quite interesting to see Jeeva and his family taking part in the prayers, and to see the Indian community in South Africa as well.... the celebrations were very colourful.... here are some pics to show what I mean....

anyway, Roy and I headed off to Sandton to join some Singaporeans for dinner and a movie in the evening... it is one of the usual things I try to do over the weekend...catch up with likeminded singaporeans and talk about how life has been for them in the past week.... here is a shot of us this week... by the way, dont catch miami vice.... crap movie.... totally rubbish....
