IMF @ Singapore (6 - 22 Sep 06)

well, as most of you would know, I was back again in Singapore on 6 Sep 06 to help out in the preparations for the IMF meeting that was taking place in mid-Sep 06. It was really quite tiring for me, as I started work immediately upon landing back in Singapore. As most of the other chaps already had 2 days of training and had already met their respective teams, I had to do a lot of catching up in the first few days to familiarise myself with the procedures.... well, I was really thankful I had an understanding team working with me, and they were very patient with me during the event..... It was a good experience working with them.... and I enjoyed my time with them.... also made several new friends like Angela, Melvin, Chee Keong, Alison, Vivien, and Sunil as well as many others.....

well, enough about work, it was also a good opportunity to come back to see my family and friends... I tried to make as much of the opportunity to see everyone, and spend quality time with them... one thing being abroad has taught me is that you never know when you will next see someone, and you should treasure every moment that you have with them.....

Well, I was too busy to take any pics during the time in Spore as it was literally working from day till night for the event...maybe next time....

anyway, it was good to be back, and clear certain things in my life..... I am really thankful for God for allowing me the opportunity to come back this time to Singapore.... never expected to come back so soon after my last trip to Singapore only took place in mid-Jun 06. Was beginning to feel as if I was working part-time in South Africa, and part-time in Singapore. hehe....
