Hiking trip

ok... Roy and I were supposed to go for this quite some time back, but we never got down to it... so, finally.. after months of delaying (mostly cause of different schedules... and of course, just plain laziness....), we managed to go down to the hiking trail at this place called suikerboos nature reserve (which is about 25 minutes drive from Sandton.. heading towards Durban on N3).... We asked our friend from the Mexican Embassy, Valeria (who came to the National Day function on 10 Aug) to join us on the hike.... we decided to be more adventurous and take the 10km route.... instead of the 5km one... here are some pics..

After the hike, I went back to Roy's place... and caught the sun set at his place... here is a pic of the sunset and the view from his place at night..
