Happy CNY!

Following church this morning, I drove down to the nearby Nan Hua Temple where there was a Chinese New Year celebration going on... I was supposed to go down with Royston, but he was kinda tired from the CNY dinner that he had with the Singaporean community on Friday.... I was involved in a dinner with a counterpart from Sri Lanka....

Anyway, CNY eve was pretty uneventful.... just spent the day watching two movies, "The Pursuit of Happyness" and "Letters from Iwo Jima".... the movies were quite touching but a bit slow at times...

Will Smith and his son... in "The Pursuit of Happyness".... really touching movie..

Ken Watanabe gives another superb performance in this Clint Eastwood movie.. now, I need to catch the other part of this movie.. showcasing the American perspective of the battle at Iwo Jima...

Back to CNY.... I drove there at about 10am... was quite a short journey.... only took me 30mins.... was expecting it to be 45 mins..... has asked my friend Sean for directions to get there... and his directions were spot-on... was kinda worried earlier that I would get lost... but I saw the temple from afar when I was driving... and a sense of relief came... hehe...
