junior's SA life: New Year's Eve

Another year that has gone by... well, before the year passes, my family decided to organise a New Year's eve dinner and invited a few people over to spend the evening together....So, my mom and I spent the day before going to the supermarket to buy food to prepare the dinner.... bought a lot of stuff...

So, on New Year's eve my colleague, Royston came over earlier and helped in cleaning up the place to make it appear neater... here are some of the shots of my place.... after the clean-up.... ready for the dinner...

Roy and I then played a round of Monopoly which he won... grrrr... all because of one stupid square which had his hotel on it... bankrupted me when I landed on it twice..... grrrr.... I was leading!!! darn it....

My parents were busy in the afternoon cooking some dishes, and also preparing the meats for the braai.... but everything was prepared by 6pm.... so, we just waited for Rebecca and her family and friends to pop by at about 7pm to start the braai... Rebecca's father brought along his Chicken Curry which was a big hit among all (especially Roy)....
