junior's SA life: My first golf game

Finally, after more than one and half years here, I finally made it to a golf course... Sean took me, Jee and his wife to Blue Valley Country Club on the weekend to try to play a round of golf.. the operative word being "try".... hehe.... given that I have had no formal training in the sport, I guess it was more an opportunity for me to make a fool out of myself in front of my friends (though they comforted me by saying that I was actually playing quite well for my first time as I could still drive the ball off the tee quite well)... hehe... well, final count - unknown.... number of lost balls - 7 (5 of my own, and 2 found on the course).. I must say that usually, I am quite apt at picking up a sport... but this game is a totally mind-boggling sport... I have newfound respect for golfers... it is seriously a difficult sport...
